With extensive experience as a teacher in the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage), Key Stages One and Two, and as a Primary SENCo (independent and state schools) across two local authorities, the bespoke consultant support I offer could be just right for
your child, your family, your nursery or group.

Meet Rachel
Rachel Mackay is a qualified teacher and SENCo (Special Educational Needs Coordinator) with a range of experience in nursery and school settings in state and private sectors, across two local authorities, as well as a background in dance teaching for young children.
Qualifications range from BA QTS (Hons) English
and EYPS (Early Years Professional Status), to
Post-Graduate Diploma in Phonics Teaching and
Post-Graduate Diploma in Educational Improvement, Development and Change. Rachel holds the NASENCO (National Award for Special Educational Needs Coordination) and NPQ in Leading Behaviour and Culture.
More recent training has included trauma-informed practice, mental health, online safety and hundreds of podcasts, listened to mostly whilst walking the dog!
